Nothing gives me more pleasure than to show a friend around a garden I have helped to plant. One of the most pleasant recollections from my childhood is that of stepping out into a beautiful garden. Being surrounded by flowers of every size and colour and wanting to cut every single flower that I saw to bring inside with me.
